C1 and C2 delighted the audience with their wonderful assembly based on The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark. Through expressive actions, narration and teamwork, the students retold the story of Plop, the little owl who learns that the dark isn’t something to fear.
They also shared their learning from Talk for Writing, explaining the different parts which make up a story and how each section helps bring a tale to life. With handmade owl headpieces, bright artwork and confident performances, C1 and C2 combined fun, creativity and learning beautifully.
The assembly was a perfect mix of storytelling and skill building, a true celebration of imagination taking flight.
