The School day
During term, Monday to Friday, school starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.00pm.
Recess: 10.50am to 11.10am
Lunch: 1.10pm to 1.50pm
School office hours, during the school term, are Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 3.30pm
Arrival at School
- Students who arrive before 8.30am must report to the Breakfast Club Café.
- Supervision will be provided for students from 8.30am in the undercover area.
- Classrooms are open at 8.40am to enable students to prepare for the day.
- Students arriving after 8.50am need to report to the front office to receive a welcome note to give to their class teacher.
- A student may leave the school grounds during school hours provided they are collected by an authorised, responsible adult who has signed them out at the front office. If your child is to be signed out by someone other than you, please be sure to notify the office by calling (08) 9345 6550.
- Please collect your child promptly after school. If you are delayed, call (08) 9345 6550 so we can let your child know you are on your way. Students awaiting collection will remain in the Front Office.
Absences
If your child is ill, please keep them at home.
As required under the Western Australian law (School Education Act 1999), please supply a reason for the absence by one of the following methods:
- calling reception at (08) 9345 6550
- adding an ‘Attendance Note’ on COMPASS
- sending a written note to school when the child returns
Parents who fail to ensure that their children attend school regularly or who fail to provide satisfactory explanations for absences may face a penalty of $1000 for each offence.
